One of the most unique tennis events in the world, Champion Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall is a four-day tennis event set within the iconic Royal Albert Hall. Previous Grand Slam Champions and World No.1s take to the stage to battle it out in one of London’s most famed venues.

Champions Tennis has welcomed a host of the sport’s biggest names and personalities to play competitively in both singles matches and entertaining doubles matches, with previous players including John McEnroe, Pete Sampras, Bjorn Borg, Pat Rafter, Marat Safin, Goran Ivanisevic and Andy Roddick.

Format

The three competing teams play each other twice in a Round Robin style format over the course of 6 sessions. Each tie or session consists of 3 matches, two singles and one doubles match. The winner of the tie (session) is determined by the team who wins the most matches. The winner of each tie will receive two points. All matches will be the best of three sets Short Sets. Shorts Sets will be first to 4 with a first to 5 points tie break at 3-3. The tie-break will be sudden death at 4-4.

The final is made up of three matches, two singles and one doubles match. Whichever team wins the most matches is crowned tournament champion.
