The Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com brings tennis fans the best of both worlds – the chance to see their heroes on the ATP Champions Tour as well as the current crop of ATP Tour stars.

The Delray Beach Tennis Stadium & Tennis Center have hosted an ATP Tour event for 28 years, boasting a star-filled roster of past champions and contenders that include Juan Martin Del Potro, Kevin Anderson, Marin Cilic, Milos Raonic, Nick Kyrgios, John Isner, Kei Nishikori, the Bryan Brothers, Andy Roddick, Andre Agassi, Lleyton Hewitt, James Blake, Tommy Haas, Patrick Rafter, Todd Martin, Michael Chang, Jim Courier, John McEnroe, Ivan Lendl, Mats Wilander, Jimmy Connors and more.

During the ten days of animated action on-court and revelry throughout the grounds, the tournament hosts signature parties day and night, hydrates party-goers with beer gardens, a bloody Mary bar, wine & champagne lounge and a gin “smash”; nourishes fans with everything from award-winning street fare to colossal deli sandwiches to brick-oven pizzas and entertains the masses with the VolleyGirls promo team, VIP Lounge & Game Room and extended site offerings of “The Ave” – downtown’s famous Atlantic Avenue, all making it one of the most vibrant and culturally rich events in tennis.

The Delray Beach ATP Champions Tour event features a unique format that pits a team of four players from Europe against Team World. All eight matches (six singles, two doubles) are pre-scheduled over the three-day event. The winner of each match receives one point for their team and the team that wins five matches first is the event champion (the greatest number of individual wins determines the individual champion).

In 2020, fans will be in for a treat with another exciting line-up of players who are ready to give their very best. There will be six singles matches and two doubles matches, with the first team to earn five triumphs leaving the event victorious. The team rosters are as follows:

Team Europe:

  • Tommy Haas
  • Marcos Baghdatis
  • David Ferrer
  • Mikael Pernfors

Team World:

  • James Blake
  • Jesse Levine
  • Vince Spadea
  • Johan Kriek

Note: Players are subject to change due to injuries or unforeseen circumstances.

On Saturday 15 February, the ATP Champions Tour players will participate in a special clinic, providing fans an opportunity to learn from some of the best players in the history of the sport. More information on registration can be found on the tournament’s website.
